Q. Is my money safe?
A. Baxter's Cycling Trips is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial
protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance
with ''The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992'' all passengers booking with Baxter's
Cycling Trips are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid
as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required,
arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of
Baxter's Cycling Trips. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through
HCCI International Insurance Company PLC.
In the unlikely event of Insolvency you must Inform Towergate Underwiriting Travel immediately on
+44 (0) 1932 334140. Please ensure you retain this booking confirmation form as evidence of cover
Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid back to you by your Travel Insurance or
any losses which are recoverable under another insurance or bond.
Q. How do can I pay?
A. You can send a sterling cheque by post made payable to BAXTER'S CYCLING TRIPS.

Q. When I make a booking, how do I know it is confirmed?
A. Once a booking has been received and processed within 2 working days you will receive a booking
invoice by e-mail.
Q. When is the balance due?
A. Your balance is due 8 weeks before departure. The balance due date is indicated on your booking
Q. What if I don't have an e-mail address?
A. If you don't have an e-mail address your documents will be posted out.
Q. If I am going by myself do I have to pay the single room supplement?
A. If you are willing to share a Twin room with somebody on the trip, we will pair you up with someone
similar to yourself. Please select Twin room on the booking form.
Q. What is the difference between Twin room and Double room?
A. A twin room has 2 single beds one for each person, a double room has a large bed for 2 persons
Q. What is Half-Board?
A. Half-Board means Bed, Breakfast, and evening meal. Drinks not included.
Q. Do I need to have travel insurance?
A. From 1st January 2009 the sale of travel insurance was regulated by the Financial Services
We are not able to offer or advise on Travel Insurance related matters, therefore, you will have to
make alternative arrangements. We strongly advise all clients to take out travel insurance. It is not
compulsory in law to take out travel insurance for a tour in the United Kingdom, but it is compulsory
for trips outside the United Kingdom.
You are required to provide us with your travel policy details and emergency contact number when
travelling to Europe, Republic of Ireland, Jersey, and Isle of Man. BAXTER'S CYCLING TRIPS will not
accept responsibility or any liability due to the failure of any person to take out adequate insurance
Q. Are seats allocated on the coach?
A. Yes seats are allocated on the coach. We operate a coach seating system, the coach is segmented
into 3 sections, Front, Middle, & Back. Please indicate on your booking form which section you
prefer to be seated in.
We try to accommodate everybody's request, but the seating is allocated on a first come bases.
If you are travelling with a partner or in a group we will ensure that you are seated together.
Q. Can I bring my bike?
A. Yes you can bring your bike on various trips. Your bike must be packed in a bike bag or bike box for
transportation. It is your responsiblity to have your bike insured.
We accept no responsiblity for theft or damage.

Q. When do I receive my itinerary?
A. You will receive your itinerary and joining instructions approximatly 2 week before departure by

Q. Are children allowed on the trips?
A. Yes children are allowed on trips apart from Cycling Randonnees (Raid).
Please be aware that trips involve long coach journies and some children can get restless and the
respect of other passengers have to be concidered.
