The Six Days of Gent (Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent) is a six-day track cycling race held annually in the
famous "Kuipke velodrome" in Gent's Citadelpark.
The Gent Six has been the adopted track event for the British fans since the closure of our very own
Skol Six in the 80s.
It does not get any better than the Gent Six. The racing around its 166.66 meters track with the steep
bankings, atmosphere, fans, music, and history all of these elements.
Our location for the weekend is in the very heart of the city of Gent at the fantastic Hotel Ibis
We operate a transfers between the hotel and the famous "Kuipke velodrome"
Our representative for the weekend (Jonathan Baxter) has more than 25 years experience in taking
people to the six days of Gent
Friday the 16th of November:
The coach will be an executive type coach, which means it will be equipped with the following facilities:
reclining seats, toilet, DVD player & drinks dispenser.
Leeds Train Station, (Queen Hotel City Square)
Manchester Victoria Train Station,
Birmingham, (N.E.C. International Train Station)
Watford Gap Services, (M1 Southbound)
London, Redbridge Tube Station (central line)
Dover Eastern Docks, (Ferry Terminal)
We can collect at other service stations along the motoway network.

We will take a mid-afternoon sailing from Dover to Calais and arrive in Gent at approximately 19:30hrs
where we spend 3 nights on bed and breakfast at centrally located hotel in Gent at the fantastic Hotel
If you have booked your Tickets through ourselves, these will be handed out to you as we travel to
Gent with a program in English of the events and list of riders.
If you have got your own tickets, you will have to join the queue in collecting them, which will mean
that you will miss part of the action.
The amateur racing starts at 18:10hrs with the professionals finishes at 01:30hrs. If you wish to attend
the nights racing, then we shall take you to the track immediately after checking in.
Saturday 17th of November:
After a relaxing breakfast you can spend your day in the beautiful city of Gent

or join our optional visit to the Tour of Flanders Museum (Centrum Ronde Van Vlaanderen).
The Tour of Flanders Museum plunges you in the unique atmosphere
of the famous bicycle race Tour of Flanders by means of multimedia,
interactive attractions and unique collectors' items.
The visit starts in the auditorium with a 13 minute long presentation
on 3 large screens, giving you an introduction on the present and
the past of the Tour.
At 17:45hrs you will be taken to the "Kuipke velodrome" for the
evenings racing where you are able to meet up with the stars for that
all important autograph.
We will be operating two transfers back from the "Kuipke velodrome".
1st transfer will be approximately midnight and for those hardcore
supporters the last transfer will be after the nights racing has finished,
so you don't have to miss any of the action.
Sunday 18th of November:
After a relaxing breakfast will be operating two transfers to the "Kuipke velodrome" the first transfer
at 11:15hrs where you can see the up and coming young stars, the second transfer at 12:15hrs for the
teams presentation, the afternoons racing starts at 13:00hrs and finishes 17:35hrs, after the prizes
ceremony we will operate a transfer back to the hotel giving you a relaxing evening in Gent.
Monday 19th of November:
We shall leave Gent and travel to Calais taking an afternoon sailing with P&O ferries Calais to Dover,
with approximate drop off times:
Watford Gap, 19:00hrs,
All ferry fares & port taxes
3 Nights Hotel Accommodation on B&B
