The Raid Alpine is a 740km & crossing an incredible 31 cols, 6 of which are over 2000 meters high. This
cycling randonnee crosses over the Alps from Lake Geneva to Nice on the Mediterranean.
The 740km route takes in lots of the legendary Alpine climbs including the two highest
(the Col d'Iseran and the Cime de la Bonette).
The Raid Alpine route goes from Lake Geneva to the Cote Azur through the Southern Alps. We will
follow the original and official route set out by Georges Rossini the route creator, for your efforts get
awarded with a medal on successful completion of the randonnee in 7 days which is an average of
100km per day.
Accommodation has been booked at locations on the route at an average 100km apart, on Half-Board
basis (Bed, Breakfast and evening Meal).
There will be a support vehicle, which will give rider support and it will also act as a back up for any
serious mechanical breakdowns.

Saturday 2nd May:
Arrange your own flight to Geneva. On arrival you will be met by our representative for the event
(Jonathan Baxter) who has more than 20 years experience of the Raid Alpine. We will operate transfers
the short distance to our hotel in Thonon les Bains at 12:30hrs.
