see today's stage at the bottom of the 3rd categorised climb of today's
stage (Cote de Revel 752M )

Options for the bike riders today.
Those with bikes can ride out from the hotel in Annecy to see today's stage on the Cote de Revel and return back to the hotel on the coach. (120km ride) or get dropped off on route to the stage

Wednesday 15th July: Stage 17 (Grenoble to Méribel Col de la Loze 168km)
The race heads into the Alps proper with a summit finish to the Méribel up the
Col de la Loze (2,304M) on a newly built road for cyclists that looks spectacular.
Riders will have to traverse the HC Col de la Madeleine en route, after the
resort of Méribel. They’ll still have an extra 7 irregular kilometres to climb with
several passages at over 20%.

After an early breakfast we shall travel to the base of the HC climb
Col de la Madeleine (2000M), where we shall see today's stage.

Options for the bike riders today.
Those with bikes can ride out from the hotel in Annecy to see today's stage on
the Col de la Madeleine and return back to the hotel on the coach. (106km ride)
or get dropped off on route to the stage

Our location in Annecy is ideal for seeing the stages in the alps or you can take time off from seeing the Tour de France, and spend some relaxing time around the lake or sight seeing around the old town of Annecy.

Monday 13th July: Rest Day
Today the Tour de France will take a well deserved rest day, as they have 3 consective mountains stages to follow.
Our location in Annecy is ideal for the rest day of the Tour de France. You can spend some relaxing time around the lake or sight seeing around the old town of Annecy.
There are lots of beautiful bike rides around Annecy.


Tuesday 14th July:
Stage 16 (La Tour du Pin to Villard de Lans 164km)
Today there’s no easy reintroduction into the race following their second
rest day with a mountainous stage that includes four categorised climbs
before the final climb to the finish at Villard de Lans.

For those with bikes, today you can have a riding day without hassle or
congestion of the Tour traffic. You will have the opportunity to ride some
of the iconic climbs of the area:










Sunday 12th July: Stage 15 (Lyon to Grand Colombier 175km)
The race resumes in Lyon after yesterdays stage, Today's stage will see
the Tour ascend the well visited Grand Colombier in the Jura mountain
range.

After an early breakfast we shall see travel to Clouz, where you can see
today's stage at the base of the Grand Colombier.





After we have see the stage on the Grand Colombier, we shall travel to
Annecy where we shall spend the next 6 nights on halfboard at the
Best Western International.

The 2020 Tour de France will take place one week earlier than its normal place in the calendar, kicking off on Saturday 27 June and concluding on Sunday 19 July - this will allow riders with dreams of the Tokyo Olympics to travel and acclimatise ahead of the road race on Saturday 25 July.


Sunday 5th July:
Arrival day
We will collect clients from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 09:00hrs & 15:00hrs for transport to our hotel, the 3* Hotel Ibis Tour Eiffel Cambronne. We will spend one night in Paris on a bed & buffet breakfast basis. On arrival at the hotel you will need to assemble your bike as we have arranged for you to store your bike bags / cases at the hotel for the duration of the trip so all bikes will be loaded fully assembled on our special bike trailer throughout the Tour.














Monday 6th July:
Travel to St Didier
After breakfast we will assemble in the hotel
s reception at 09:30hrs and get transferred to Paris Gare de Lyon train station where we shall board the TGV train to Avignon. On your arrival in Avignon you will be taken to Saint-Didier where we shall spend 3 nights on half-board at the excellent 3* Hotel Cote Ventoux which is ideal for accessing the mythical Mont Ventoux (1912 meters).

Tuesday 7th July:
Mont Ventoux Riding Day

Today you will have various ride options to ride the "Giant of Provence"
the mythical Mont Ventoux (1912 meters).

Those without bikes will have the opportunity of spending a relaxing
day at the hotel's swimming pool, or visit Avignon.


Wednesday 8th July:
Ride the Nesque Gorge/Gordes
Today you can explore the beautiful countryside with a ride up the
Nesque Gorge or the historical hill top village of Gordes.

Those without bikes will have the opportunity of spending a relaxing day
at the hotel's swimming pool, or visit Avignon.



Thursday 9th July:
Transfer to the Alps
After breakfast we shall transfer to the Alps, where we shall spend the next 3 nights on Hal-board at the hotel la belle Aurore on Alpe d'Huez which is ideal for accessing the iconic climbs of the area.

The 107th edition of the Tour de France will cover 3,470km over 21 stages, and will feature 29 categorised climbs.

The 107th edition will feature 8 mountain stages with 4 summit finishes, 9 flat stages, 3 hilly stages, and 1 individual time trial on the penultimate day and 2 rest days before the riders finish as usual on the cobblestones of the Champs Elysees.

The five mountain ranges of France will be on the menu for the 107th Tour de France: Alps, Massif Central, Pyrenees, Jura and Vosges.

Friday 17th July: Stage 19 (Bourg-en-Bresse to Champagnole 160km)
Today's is a flat stage which should allow the sprinters the opportunity
to shine, having survived the last three days in the Alps. Giving the GC
contenders to focus on the challenge that awaits the following day, an
unusual penultimate stage.

Those with bikes can ride out from the hotel in Annecy to see today's
stage start in Bourg-en-Bresse and return back to the hotel on the coach.
(107km ride) or get dropped off on route to the stage

After breakfast we shall travel to the town of Bourg-en-Bresse to see
today's stage start.
Thursday 16th July: Stage 18 (Méribel to La Roche-sur-Foron 168km)
Today's stage is made for the most enduring climbers, with over
4,000M of climbing.
The peloton will ascend the following climbs in the following order:

Saturday 18th July: Transfer to Paris
After breakfast you will have the morning to explore the beautiful sights
of Annecy before catching the midday TGV train tom Paris arriving at
16:11hrs.

On your arrival in Paris you will be met by our coach which will take you
to the Paris hotel Ibis Tour Eiffel Cambronne where you will be able to
freshen up before exploring the sights of Paris.

In the evening you will have an option of taking a River Seine
Dinner Cruise.

Sunday 19th July: Stage 21 (Mantes-la-Jolie to Paris Champs-Élysées 122km) or Departure day
After breakfast we leave Paris. We offer transfers from the hotel to
Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 07.30hrs and 13.00hrs.

Alternatively you can spend an extra night in Paris, France's capital,
which is a major European city and a global centre for art, fashion,
gastronomy and culture.

Its 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the
River Seine.

Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century,
Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture and
designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

You will be able to see the final stage on the Champs Elysees, which will be an evening stage.

After seeing the stage you can make your own way back to our Paris hotel where we spend 1 night on bed and buffet breakfast basis. You will be able to re-pack your bike into your bike bag / bike case. The hotel is a reasonably short distance to walk from the Champs Elysees.


Monday 20th July: Departure day
After breakfast we leave Paris. We offer transfers from the hotel to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 07.30hrs and 13.00hrs.

Col des Aravis(1478M) where we shall see today's stage.
Options for the bike riders today.
Those with bikes can ride out from the hotel in Annecy to see today's stage on the Col des Aravis and ride back to the hotel. (82km return ride) or after seeing the stage on the Col des Aravis decend to the town of Flumet and return on the coach (51km ride)
